Different in Every Way | Digital Imaging and Compositing

Everyone in the world is different, from what they look like, to what they love. When people think of the differences between each other, they think of our skin, hair, eyes, or age, but people need to look beyond appearances to see what truly makes us all different… even in families. Every single thing in the world is different. I believe that people are the things in the world that have the most differences. However, our uniqueness can be seen by looking at the expressions on our faces. I took photographs of myself, my two friends, and my family in different environments, doing different things, and photographed our reactions to things and the locations, as well as photographing objects that represent their personalities. I arranged the photos of our expressions, put them on one photo, and placed some of them as if they were puzzle pieces. Each photograph of us shows the moods we usually feel, to show the differences between us. Our personalities are what truly make us different, even in families. Just look beyond one’s appearance and age to see what truly makes each of us special.
