Exploring Savannah | Photography

History is a very important part of culture, but it is also an important part of cities and towns. In Savannah, history is very important to the people because of the different cultures and people that have influenced the city over time. I took documentary photographs of multiple different locations, statues, buildings, and Savannah Squares that are very significant to the city throughout its long history. I chose images of some of the more popular, as well as the lesser known monuments, that are in Savannah because of the significance of their history. History is important, it forged us into who we are, and the sights that are left behind in commemoration remind us of those important events that shaped us into who we are today.
